If you enjoy having a a drink every now and then, leave your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and keep all money, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you expect to use on drinks, tips and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well have a win following a drunken evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hit a long roll at a on fire craps table. Keep that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and gamble. The two simply do not go well together.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a little bit excessive, but defensive actions for drastic actions is essential. If you play to win, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to toss away your cash without a concern, then drink all the gratis beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not take charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your befuddled head loses everything!
Let me to take this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop online to wager in your favorite casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my condominium, however considering that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.
Why? Although I don’t drink a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I do not drink when betting. If you are a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. Both create an awful, and expensive, drink.
