Being Taught From My Wagering Errors

First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the internet or at a brick and mortar betting houses for a great many years. I have discovered, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are penniless. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I have gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your gut and the more you try the quicker you lose.

When you see that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slot games, have a bankroll set aside before beginning your action. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how tempting. If you actually win, put that in a separate cup. Do not risk your profits no matter what. As soon as you have gone through your original set limit, bail out. Head out, whether it’s on the net or at a land-based casino, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be a different day, a different time.

Keep in mind, betting is supposed to be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot manage the loss, do not even begin.
